Using assistants through an agent

Connecting an AI agent

If an assistant has been shared with you, an AI agent can use it for you. It can chat with the assistant, keep or dismiss the memory offers the assistant makes, and rate or report answers.

Connecting

Add https://deputise.ai/mcp as a remote MCP server in your agent's client. Your browser opens so you can sign in and approve the permissions the agent asks for. Approval is all or nothing. If you want the agent to do more later, reconnect it and approve the new permissions.

Reporting an answer

If your agent reports an answer, the chat is locked, as it is when you report one yourself. See Reporting an answer.

Stopping an agent

You can remove an agent's access at any time. See AI agents with access to your account.
